Great understanding of genetics, hybrid vigor, dominant or recessive genes and how they work in your brood stock is a must! 

Our selective breeding program is extremely strict, we’ve handpicked top quality stock for over 7 generations to produce our line, we don’t breed dogs unless they are deemed worthy and perfect by classic American Pit Bull Terrier standards and above all by AMP standards!

While if thoughtfully exercised correctly inbreeding is a great way to conseal, preserve and duplicate your bloodline by cutting out all other outside bloodlines and gene pools it could ultimately makes it necessary to bring in an outcross-new blood to avoid defects thus reintroducing the same bloodline you tried to preserve directly into a different gene pool. THAT'S WHY WE LINE BREED

Inbreeding is the attempt to generate and duplicate the exact same blood that is producing once again, it's the breeding of direct relatives such as a father to his daughter, a mother to her son or a brother to a sister.  This is tricky to me and I like to break it into generation limits, for example we feel it is ok to breed a mother to her son one generation but to take that same son that was bred to the mother and attempt to breed him to his daughter that him and his mother produced is in our eyes breeding a little to tight. And when you breed to close and tight you get defects just like in humans, you start to get mutations to the outside confirmation as well as to the internal organs and the brain, or the loss of trait, features and characteristics or the loss of fertility. This can create something dangerous!

Line breeding is the breeding of distant relatives such as cousins to one another, or half sibling to one another, or grandparents to there grand or great grand children. We perfer this method of professional breeding because far distant relatives give your combination the space for hybrid vigor while sticking to the same family group and it also gives more breeding viariety and combination option without the risk of too much close blood or having to go outside your family group for fresh blood

We mainly practice line breeding which is breeding to create a bloodline but we also seldomly practice inbreeding
